Plenty of support for someone used to spring coiled futon. The only adjustment is when the heat kicks on in the middle of a winter night, one can feel overheated. Otherwise, it was easy to set up, move around, very comfortable to sleep on, and overall an excellent buy for the money.

I love my Tuft and Needle mattress! I've had it for ~2 months and it's really improved my back pain. It is very firm and has decent edge support for a foam mattress. For reference, I tried the Zinus Green Tea 12" mattress and the Ikea Haugsvär medium firm. Both mattresses were too soft for me as a back sleeper -- I always felt like I was lying in a hammock despite being relatively light. I am a 5'6 130lb woman with a history of low back pain. The Tuft and Needle provides the right amount of support for me and I'm so happy I finally found a mattress that works!

This mattress is perfect. I like really firm but my husband does not and somehow this fits both of our needs. I was worried when we first opened it that it seemed too soft, but once we put the mattress protector on and our bedsheets it was firmer. We didn’t have any soreness or breaking in period. I’ve slept just as good on night 100 as I did on night 1. I HIGHLY recommend.

Still deciding about this mattress. It’s great quality but just a little too hard for my liking! It’s great for back sleepers but if you are a side sleeper it does feel pretty hard.
