I actually LOVE this mattress. As someone who has used many (back and forth between divorced parent's houses & a lot of moving) I can say that this is by far my favorite. I will never have a mattress with springs again. Like ever.

Prompt delivery of mattress and box foundation (separately). Assembling the foundation was easy, and setting up the mattress on it was straightforward. We let it finish opening up for 7 hours then slept on it the next night. From the beginning it has felt amazing: the right blend of soft comfort and underlying support. We can easily adjust our positions without feeling stuck, and no matter what position we rest in, the mattress instantly adjusts to keep us comfortable. Beyond that, avoiding the hassle of an in-store experience and paying such a great price has made the whole experience even better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I tried the queen T& N original mattress for about 1.5 months before raising the white flag. My body just could not get used to the firmness of this mattress. After the first week of sleeping on this mattress (or trying to sleep) I called Tuft and Needle to talk with a very understanding person regarding the firmness of this mattress and she suggested that I try one of their toppers which could take off the edge. After allowing the topper several days of sitting in my garage due to off-gassing, I gave it a try. I gave up after several days because of the continued lingering odor and lack of support of the topper between me and the firmness of this mattress (in other words it did not work for me). I tried several other toppers over the next several weeks but still found myself not able to find a comfortable position that I could get a restful night sleep. I feel I gave the mattress a respectable time for a trial but it’s not for me. I will say the Tuft and Needle support person was top notch in understanding my concerns and facilitating the return process smoothly.
