Getting a mattress that you can't test drive is tough (thanks 2020). However, I did a lot of research and choose this one as my old foam mattress was done. I saw a lot of reviews that said either too hard or too soft, but I found this mattress to be a nice middle ground. It is softer than the foam mattress it replaced, but not overly so. I have it on a piece of plywood for extra support. The cover is nice and soft and I did not notice any odor when I unboxed it. Overall, for sight unseen, I'm happy with it. It isn't that great for back sleeping, but I find it nice for side sleeping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very comfortable and well worth the price! It didn’t smell at all after we unwrapped it, so we were able to sleep on it right away. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Exactly what we needed for our spare room. Took it out of the box, put it on the bed frame and it fit perfectly. Our guest have had no complaints and we’ve slept on it a couple of times and find it as comfortable as our more expensive mattress in the main bedroom. Will buy this one when ours wears out.
