Be sure to roll it out for a week before using it because mattress continues to expand. Does compress some if you lay on the edge of the bed. Have considered using a box spring to raise it up a little, but not really necessary for the comfort.

We just bought our second original mattress for our lake cabin. We love the one we’ve had at home for two years...it’s as comfortable as the day we bought it.

I like the firmness and how it doesn't sleep hot. However, within one month the mattress already started sagging, with the edges higher than the middle (I'm 140 lbs). I can't sleep on my back because of the angle, so now I either sleep diagonally to minimize the slant, or on my side. Not enough of an issue to warrant the hassle of a return/exchange, but enough that I likely won't buy T&N again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's always hard to buy a mattress. Fortunately a new Tuft & Needle store opened in Austin, TX, so I was able to try the mattress before purchase, but even from a single lie down it's hard to know if it will be as good as it seems. After a month, I can honestly say this is the best mattress I've ever slept on. Every single night I'm excited to lay down to bed, and feel great knowing I'm going to get a good night's sleep!
I would recommend this to a friend!
