So we bought this mattress looking for medium softness yet supportive. My husband and I are back and side sleepers. This mattress ended up being so firm, I woke up with terrible neck and shoulder pain every morning.
I contacted customer service after about 2 weeks to start a return. They were fine with starting the return process but first offered their mattress topper for free to add some more foam. With the mattress topper, this bed is perfect! I am now so happy with our bed and so impressed by the prompt and generous customer service.
So my ultimate recommendation would be to go with the mint or the topper if you’re a side sleeper at all because this mattress is much too firm and rough on your shoulders and hips without some extra foam on top.

The mattress is a bit firm but a lot better than what I had previously. The mattress arrived quickly. Overall I like it. The company itself is very helpful! I would definitely recommend this mattress!
