developed a rash on exposed skin from the mattress' off gassing--so be warned. the mattress itself is comfortable for my sleep style, as i'm more concerned about spinal alignment than overall comfort. i can imagine it's a bit firm for most people; most reviews put this mattress at a 7-7.5/10 on a scale of firmness, though, I'd pin it at a 8-8.5. there's enough give in the foam to support my weight (145-pound male), but it definitely doesn't a mattress i'm raving about.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far, so good. We are extremely pleased. The bed is comfortable and has definitely helped with my back pain. I feel more rested and energetic during the day. However, it feels like the bed is gradually becoming less firm. This is not a very good sign being that it has only been a little over a month; but time will tell.
