The mattress is too soft for people with back issues. I do know a lot of people who like it, but for someone like me with pre-existing back pain, it’s not good. I woke up with a sore back every day with this mattress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The original Tuft & Needle mattress is the best mattress I’ve ever slept upon. I’ve had it for a little over a month and the back pain I’ve been dealing with for 6 years is gone. The mattress is so comfortable. I wake up feeling rested even on nights when I didn’t get to bed until late.

I like this size and the easy way it came and set up. I'm a side sleeper and find this mattress too firm, but upon calling customer service, I was sent a softer mattress topper for free and now it's just right.
