Really great bed. Comfy and has alleviated my back issues. I did have to get used to the lack of defined edges- as I like to sleep right on the edge of the bed, but that only took a few nights to adjust myself to get used to a foam bed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My T&N mattress is helping me heal from a very painful back injury.
Towards the end of May, I woke up one morning in my old bed in terrible pain and with my lower back in spasm. I'm still not entirely sure what I did, but it wasn't until the end of August that the spasms and pain finally stopped for good. During that time, I also moved to a new apartment. As part of my move, I bought a T&N original mattress to move in with. The old mattress went straight from the old place to the dump.
It seems to me that it is probably difficult to make an entirely accurate judgement of a new mattress under these circumstances. But I can say that it was very, very clear to me that my old mattress was making my situation worse. Mornings were horrible and I wasn't sleeping well at all.
For the first few days on my T&N mattress, I couldn't tell if it was helping, but I was fairly sure it wasn't making things worse like my old mattress had been.
Just over a week after I started sleeping on my T&N, the pain finally eased up. There were other factors in my healing (PT, finishing my move to the new apartment, etc.) but I do believe the mattress was a big factor.
Now that I'm mostly back to normal, I find my mattress to be very comfortable. It's firm without being hard. I feel well supported. I am feeling more rested than I have in quite a while.
I would absolutely recommend a T&N mattress to others, especially folks who like a firm, supportive mattress.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall a great bed at a fair price! Order directly from T&N for the best warranty...which was a concern before I bought it but now over a month in and we completely love the mattress.

When I bought this product I believed that I was a fan of firm beds. I knew it was supposed to be better for you - yadda yadda. But in reality my partner and I are mostly side sleepers, and if you sleep on your side your body can only take so much of a hard surface before it takes abuse.
After a week of airing out and expanding without any outside influence I was so ready to try this guy. Then, It was hard as concrete! I swear it was like I was straight on the floor. It was like this for three weeks. I developed a nerve pain in my right hip that would go down to my toes from sleeping on it. It even effected my driving because of how I use my right leg. After the third week either my partner and I got used to it, changed our way of sleeping to our backs, or it softened up a little - but only until tolerable.
We can’t cuddle on this bed for any long period of time because your side gets sore so I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s good for couples. I don’t know if I’ll be keeping this for much longer - I just keep hoping it gets softer and softer.
The concept of the bed, the service, the shipping, the price? All fantastic. But the product itself was not a winner. I’m sad about it. I wanted it to be great!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
