Good mattress and very firm. I wish I’d listened to the recommendations that side sleepers should get the Mint. I have always preferred very firm mattresses and have always been a side sleeper. For traditional mattresses side sleeping on a firm mattress has been comfortable for me, but on this one it is less so. The company specifically recommends the Mint for side sleepers but I was worried that it would be too soft overall so I went with the Original. It is a great mattress but is too firm to be very comfortable for side sleeping.

We bought this matress for our guest bedroom and my wife has found it so comfortable and supportive that she doesn't want to come back to the firm matress in the master bedroom. Maybe buying her the Mint for out room will get her to come back...

For me, this mattress is the perfect combination of semi firmness and yet a bit of give for my 140 lb. body. Prior to purchasing I tried other beds in stores and was not happy. Both of my daughters have had Tuft and Needle mattresses for several years and love them. I would highly recommend this mattress. Be prepared to unwrap layers of film...it’s fun when you finally get to the end, break the suction seal and take off the mattress packaging, lay out your mattress, and watch it expand!!

I won’t lie- this was a lot firmer than I was hoping. I had voiced my opinion via email and Tuft and Needle sent me a topper. This made a world of difference! So comfortable now. My 5 year old and dog also love it- I plan to purchase T&N mattresses for my sons new bunk bed and a dog bed for my schnauzer. Excellent customer service and super happy with this purchase. Would highly recommend.

It just so happens during my recent move the pandemic of coronavirus hit my hometown. I was unable to get my bed, dresser, misc furniture and items from my parents house with fear that I might be a carrier of the virus after traveling and did not want to risk getting my elderly parents sick. So, I am very thankful for tuft and needle! I was able to order a new (and affordable) mattress and only had to sleep on my couch a few nights waiting for it to arrive. I have been waiting on a bed-frame to be delivered, so I am currently sleeping on my mattress on the ground. However, I have been sleeping the entire night and not waking up once! This mattress is amazing and soon will be off the floor and on a bed-frame like it deserves. Thank you tuft and needle for making this hectic time in life a lot more comfortable:)

Very easy and convenient way to buy a mattress. Read all the reviews and decided to give it at try. The mattress arrived in a timely fashion and was easy to get onto the bed. After a few weeks I felt as thought the mattress was a little firmer then expected, so I contacted customer service. They sent out a 2 in thick topper to add to the mattress and it made all the difference. Great mattress and great customer service. So happy I went with Tuft and Needle!

Upon opening the box the first thing you experience is a medicinal/ chemical stench that lingers in the mattress for weeks. The second is how uncomfortably soft it is. At 180lbs i feel like I sink into the bed and am not supported. After 1month I started experiencing upper back/neck pain. I changed pillows and no improvement in pain. It may be for others but unfortunately not for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
