This Mattress Does Not Breathe

My partner and I bought this mattress almost a year ago now. I was initially stoked about the purchase because I had read good things about T&N and generally love a firm mattress, however, after sleeping on it for an Alaska winter, I am dreading summer because I routinely found myself waking up mid-slumber drenched in sweat. This mattress does not breathe. As someone who runs cool, I don't know how anyone who runs warm could get a good night rest on this mattress. Also, you can decide whether this is a pro or con, but the foam has not broken in and I generally wake up sore because there is so little give on the mattress. This was not my first foam mattress either, and I've generally found foam to be fairly comfortable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s not comfortable for me

I bought this mattress in November so I’m past the 100 day trial. It’s just not very comfortable. I’m very disappointed in myself for keeping it. It’s not unbearable but I just do not sleep well on this mattress.

We have been SO incredibly happy with our mattress!! It was love from the first night! I love a good memory foam bed, but my hubby thinks they are too hot, squishy & soft. He prefers a firm mattress that’s equivalent of a wood plank, which I find insanely hard. This bed is a perfect fit for both of us- firm & supportive, but also just soft enough to feel cradled. My hip problems disappeared after 2 nights of perfect support & his back has been happy since night one. And we both LOVE the fact the edges are just as firm as the center, so you sleep on the edge (if someone is hogging the space) and it offers the same support as the rest so you don’t feel like the edge is collapsing & about to dump you on the floor. Also, there is NO movement transference; I can flop around all night if I want & he never feels it. He can get up as early & as often as he wants and the bed never shifts, creaks or moves and I never hear it or wake up from it. Combined we weigh close to 500lbs and this mattress has been a dream of comfort & we’ve never slept better. I will NEVER buy any other brand again!!

Wow. Customer service = 100%!!!! The original was a bit too firm for a side sleeper like me. I think if/when I get another mattress, I would try their mint. But despite the product not working out, let me tell you-their customer service reps are EXCELLENT. And their business model of giving unwanted mattresses to charity is heart-warming (yes, they found a charity near me and gave me their direct contact info). T&N, I am a big, big fan!

Not worth the money.

Bought mattress a year ago and its sinking in the middle. We made the mistake on not getting the cooling top and we pay at night. Having the mattress roll us on top of each other doesn't help

Nice at first but after 3 years we are left disappointed

Pros: affordable and convenient
Cons: hot. The material seems to absorb and radiate body heat. Not ideal for sleep. After 3 years the mattress has sagged and not very supportive. I have never had chronic back pain until sleeping on this mattress.

I love my new mattress. This is the second purchase of a Tuft and Needle. It is firm but not so firm that you can’t side sleep. It is easy to place on bed. It does require 2 people to carry the package.
