Recommended by consumer's reports over the Lenovo I was considering. The surprise perpetual calendar/pencil box is nice, but should have black lettering, not white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this computer for almost 6 months and have appreciated almost every feature it has. It is fast but incredibly light, and a great price for what it is. The reason for a 4 star review is that it has some unusual quirks that are not anything too difficult to put up with but could be improved. One is that the fan is not always reliable and is very loud and it still gets very hot. I do enjoy having the kind of performance and battery life that this has, but the performance varies a lot. Sometimes, it will open a program almost instantly, others, it takes several minutes, with the exact same settings. Overall, though, for the price range and the amount of features (and how light and tough it is) it is one of the best computers in its class.
