Really nice coffee maker! No drip/dribble carafe. A little extra coffee so my better half and I can each get two full big mugs! Very nice closure at the top so the cabinet above is not given a steam bath. Extra time available keeping the coffee warm which suggests a superior hot plate that will not give out. Love the easy touch screen controls as well. The more we use it, the more we are glad we bought it!

I upgraded from the previous version of this coffeemaker, so I knew in general what to expect. The carafe is the weakest point. There is simply NO WAY to empty the carafe into the coffeemaker (to put the water in), or into a coffee cup, due to the overly large lip on the inside of the top of the carafe - a real design flaw that has made it through at least 2 versions of this coffeemaker.

The coffee maker works well at making the coffee. As it comes to the end of the brewing cycle, it is very noisy, emitting a sort of banging noise. I am disappointed that the heating plate is already, after a month is starting to deteriorate with staining even though I clean it every day.

Good coffee - but a poorly designed coffeemaker

Overall, a very nice machine, but the designers have "overthought" the touch screen panel, e.g., the power button not also being the brew button - doesn't make sense. Also, the "bold" button does not work or light up on my brand-new machine. Also, PLEASE tell the carafe designers to cap off the bottom of the handle! After being in the dishwasher upside down, the handle fills up with water! If not careful, it spills all over the place!

It ends at good looks. This one is a replacement, because the first one was bursting steam long after brewing. In addition the burner plate started peeling and rusting soon after purchasing. This replacement is noisy also and the touchscreen is what it is. Physical buttons are way better. Disappointed in this unit as cuisinart does make better.

this is a great coffee maker. the touch panel is easy to use and the sleek design is great. a good feature is the holding temp of the coffee you can switch between low, med, and high. the med. setting is perfect as it keeps the coffee at a good temp. I found the high setting too hot. this maker brews a good cup of coffee I've had great success and the bonus gold filter is a plus.
