This is a great coffee maker. Like the 14 cup carafe and the coffee taste really good. We use the bold feature. All of the displays and buttons are easy to set.

It seems to take a long time to brew a pot. One of the reasons I picked another Cuisinart is because I've been so happy in the past with the speed of brewing and the quality of the coffee. Also, this coffeepot periodically makes a very loud noise, like steam being released after it's done brewing.

I bought this model based on a consumer reports review. My last coffee maker lasted me about 15 years. This one seems solid and good quality. The touch screen is nice but not necessary. The carafe is a bit bulky and it is difficult to pour the water into the back of the machine. It is a bad design because the lid gets in the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to operate, but tricky to fill.

I love the coffee pot. I bought a second one for our new camper. It’s so easy to operate and brews quickly. My only complaint and reason for only 4*s is that the lid doesn’t open far enough to fill the reservoir with the carafe. I had read this about it before I bought my first one, but I find if I leave the lid off the carafe until I’ve filled the reservoir, it’s easier to get all the water out.

Button sensativity

Good coffee maker, only concern is I keep pressing the Bold button and eventually goes on, should easily work with first touch. The regular brew button works the first time you touch it, anyone else have this problem, or how to make the buttons more sensitive?
