[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never enjoyed a toothbrush as much as this one. The form factor is perfect, and the new brush head cleans exceptionally well. I especially like the travel charging case - it's very premium and sleek. The app provides a really good meditative experience, though I do find it does take some discipline to use it daily. I love the fact that the buttons on the unit are touch sensitive, making it very easy to clean. I was given this unit to test and am thrilled that I get to keep it.

An Excellent Sonic Toothbrush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phillips Sonicare Prestige 9900 is an excellent sonic toothbrush if you are looking for one. It has a very strong motor giving off as much as 62k vibrations per minute. If that number is meaningless to you, I can assure you that you'll notice the difference between it and other electric toothbrushes. Despite this strong motor, it is very comfortable in the hand. By this I mean the body stays relatively vibration free while the brush head is vibrating. The battery life is amazing. I can go a week b/t charges. The design is sleek. It comes with a very sharp looking case. The official brush heads from Philips is a bit more expensive than knock-off brands, but their better quality makes it worth it for me. The main difference is that knock-offs tend to not attach securely to the body while the Philips brush heads never have that problem. I received this product as compensation for testing this product.

Excellent Toothbrush & Simple to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Soniccare 9900 Prestige toothbrush. I received this toothbrush as compensation for my honest review. I have been using this toothbrush for three weeks, and prior to using it was using the Soniccare 9300 Diamondclean toothbrush. The Soniccare 9900 Prestige comes with the toothbrush handle, brush, stand up charger, and a travel charging case. Compared to the 9300, the 9900 is smaller in size and easier to handle; this is due to the Prestige only having one button which I like much better. To change intensity, type of cleaning, or any other settings you use the app. Using the app while brushing also gives you real-time feedback on how well you are brushing each section of teeth. A fully charged handle will give you about a weeks worth of brushing two times a day. This toothbrush is very simple to use and I have not had any major issues over the last three weeks. The only complaint I have is sometimes it doesn't sense that I'm actually brushing in a particular area. Using the app while brushing will let you know this, and adjusting the angle of the brush fixes this. When I first connected the toothbrush to the app, the app asked that the toothbrush be standing on the counter for calibrating. Before I could put the handle on the counter, the app showed the toothbrush was calibrated. I have not been able to find a way to re-calibrate the handle and wonder if this may be the reason for the handle not sensing where I'm brushing sometimes. The charging base is small and doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter. The travel case is also a charger, and is compact making it easy to pack for traveling.

Dentist visit clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Sonicare DiamondClean for over two years now and can not recommend it more. From the very first time I used it, my teeth felt noticeably cleaner. Now, after regular use, my teeth and gums are in great health, and my breath is fresher.
My dental hygienist and dentist commends me on my teeth and gums every visit, and actually uses a Sonicare themselves. They say it’s obvious when a patient uses an electric toothbrush.

The most noticeable upgrade with the Prestige 9900 is the subtle ramp up and down when it starts and finishes - it does t just turn on and off, it eases on and off instead. It’s subtle, but an appreciated upgrade as it is not a startling.
My wife and kids also use it with similar experience.

Polished update of the best electric toothbrush!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd previously been using the DiamondClean model, and this newest release is a polished update with some nice improvements.
First off, the overall handle is smaller and lighter, and feels more comfortable in the hand, which makes it easier to maneuver for brushing. The charging base is much smaller (it's now just a small round disc, not much wider than the handle itself), and takes up less space on the counter. The only downside is that the former (larger) base used to have a small, standard plug, whereas the new base terminates in a USB connection; the USB plug hooks into a provided power plug, but this piece is pretty large, so if you have this plugged into your wall above the sink counter, this will be much more noticeable than before (unless you have an outlet with a USB receptacle, in which case it will be even more unobtrusive than before). Battery life is great, but it's so easy to leave the handle on the included charger, that this doesn't really become an issue. The new travel charging case is also smaller and sleeker, and will make it much easier to pack the toothbrush in a small travel case.
Controls have shifted to a one-button system for powering on and off. The idea is that the new all-in-one head should reduce the need to change to different cleaning modes, which can now only be done through the app. I did find myself leaving the bush on the default "Clean" mode, so the loss of the dedicated physical mode button didn't bother me.
All the great brushing features from the DiamondClean are still here - guided brushing through the app, alerts to ket you know it's time to move on to another tooth area, etc. The 9900 Prestige now adds more advanced pressure and scrubbing detection, even automatically adjusting the brush intensity if it detects that you're brushing too hard. Overall, brushing is easy and effective - the 2 minute default program seems to fly by, and, by the end, my mouth feels sparklingly clean.
I received compensation (got to keep the product) as part of the product test, but my review reflects my honest opinions.

It is very nice that you can change the intensity of the vibrations to three different levels. It has a great charging pad that all you have to do is sit it on it. This toothbrush is very easy to use.
