Really feel the power

Great new features and improved existing ones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toothbrush has improved upon the quad spacer timer function- instead of just 4 timing sections of 30 seconds each it now has 6 sections of 20 seconds each. In my opinion, this is a much better method for timing and brushing teeth. Took me one use to get use to the new timing method. The new feature that was added is the pressure sensor indicator to make sure you are not pressing too hard when brushing your teeth - although I have not had the indicator alert me that I am brushing too hard but it is nice to know the feature is there. One additional feature that I really like is how the speed on the toothbrush ramps up - I like to use the highest speed on the toothbrush and the ramp up to selected speed when you start up is really a nice feature. As part of this review I have received a demo product and am receiving compensation for the review.

Great brush head and great adjustable intensities. Felt just like after a professional dental cleaning.My teeth have never felt haelthier and cleaner. Highly recommended for all.

Incredible product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothbrush is the best one I've ever tried. I decided to participate in paid study to try new products. I was using old sonicare toothbrush and it's time to change. I definitely buying this new product! It's a little pricy, but the result is fantastic. Every time after using it I feel like I visited hygienist, it's very powerful. The style is minimalistic and I love it, travel case surprised me too: it's super nice looking and very handy, you can charge your brush right in it. Love it!

Unbelievable clean

My tooth now feel like I have just been to the dentist for a cleaning. I was worried the vibration would be too much but it isn't too much. My teeth have never felt cleaner and looked healthier. Speed of brush and battery life is unbelievable, been using for 2 weeks and yet to recharge!!

Nice toothbrush but has some flaws

This toothbrush has a lot of positives, but one pretty critical negative that ruined it for me.
For the positives, it's a really nice and polished product. Build quality is sturdy and sleek. Comes with a really nice travel case/combo charger. The home charger is well thought out too having a protective cover will help prevent/make easy to clean disgusting old toothpaste build up that normally plagues electric toothbrushes. It's packed with features and battery life is solid.
The one negative I have - I absolutely cannot stand brushing my teeth with it. Even on the lowest setting it is the most uncomfortable toothbrush I've ever used. I've been using electric toothbrushes since as long as I can remember and none have ever felt anything like this while brushing. It's like a super sonic micro vibrations, and I'm sure clean my teeth better than any other toothbrush I've used, but I cannot stand to brush for long at all because of how it makes my mouth/gums feel. I'm sure this is a person to person thing that some may be like me and others won't mind it.
If this was more traditional in "vibration" style it used this would be a clear winner, but I just can't deal with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My teeth feel cleaner than ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently switched from a manual toothbrush to the Philips Sonicare Prestige 9900, and couldn't be happier. It's been about two weeks since I've been using the Sonicare and my teeth feel and look so clean. I like how luxurious the Sonicare looks/feels, as well as the included travel case. The brush head easily connects to the base. One thing I'd like to mention is the color of the bristles, which are orange. Not the best color for toothbrush bristles, in my opinion. The charging station works well and doesn't take up a lot of space. I like that there are three intensity options, although I cannot imagine ever using anything other than the minimum intensity. I tend to use a lot of pressure when brushing my teeth, so I appreciate the sensor on the Sonicare lighting up when I'm brushing too hard. I also like that the Sonicare times each section of your mouth when brushing, by pulsing when it's time to move to another section. I would like to be able to link the Sonicare to the app, as some models have that option. Perhaps, that feature will be added in the future. I would like to point out that I did receive this product for testing and will be compensated. Overall, a great power toothbrush and would definitely recommend!
