Impressed with Danby dehumidifiers

I just bought this today. So I'm basing this on our church's Danby dehumidifiers that have been working since 2021. That's why I went with Danby.

Not even 2 years and is not working anymore. No more water collection even the compressor is heard as it’s running

Hoping for no-hassle warranty replacement of failed unit.

Dehumidifier worked OK, but then failed - coils freezing up. It is still within the warranty period, so hopefully it will be repaired or replaced promptly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dehumidifier but stopped working after 1 year

My dehumidifier worked great for 1 year. I like its capacity to keep my basement dry, and the timer is very useful. But suddenly the appliance stopped absorbing any humidity: after 24h the bucket remained empty. I tried to contact the support through their online form. After a first acknowledgement from their part, i'm still waiting 2 weeks later.
I would recommend this to a friend!
