I am pleased with the performance of this unit. It is relatively quiet and seems efficient. The only drawback is the small size of the reservoir which means that I need to empty it often. On the other hand, the small size makes it easy to carry it to the sink to empty it without spilling. Now I'm just hoping this unit lasts longer than the last make of dehumidifier I purchased--under two years!

Had unit up and running in no time and directions were easy to follow.
Noise from fan and unit running is minimal on low and acceptable on high.

The unit is fairly quiet and is nice looking. We are not able to use a hose for the unit, so my only concern is the size of the water bucket. Would prefer a larger one.

Bought it for basement. It’s been 3 months and it works fine so far. I would buy one with bigger tank for basement as in the summer I need to dump the water everyday.

new 30 pint dehumidifier

Purchased this a week ago, followed instructions has been running smoothly ,. glad it has a 2 year warranty and service people available for the future. Our prior Danby dehumidifier was a 1970s era unit . Hope this lasts as long.

Pleased With Danby 30 Pint Dehumidifier

I like my Danby 30 Pint Dehumidifier. I had a larger one that lasted over 10 years. I'm missing having a drain hose with this one but I know a garden hose can be attached. Haven't tried that and I think my appliance is catching up with the dehumidifying work as I have to empty it twice a day. I like the smaller bucket because it is lighter so easier for a senior to empty. I feel it works well and I hope it lasts as long as my old one did with no issues.
