Love this dehumidifier; it's a lifesaver

Had 2 floods in my apartment on Jan. 1/24 because someone was throwing baby wipes down toilet. First flood was just in main bathroom and seemed to be fixed by replacing the toilet wax ring. I put all the cleaning rags I had used to clean the flood into the washing machine in the laundry closet and went to make a coffee. Went back to check the washing machine 5 - 10 minutes later. The laundry closet, the hallway in my 2 bedroom apartment and about 1 foot square of the carpet in the main bedroom totally flooded. Called maintenance again. He called his boss and a plumber was called. Plumber came and put very long snake in bathroom under sink drain and pulled out what I called black goo. Plumber said it was baby wipes. The snake was coming from the apartment downstairs. Ordered the Danby dehumdifier. Because where the flooding happened is a large open area (no doors) it took the dehumidifier about a week to get all the moisture out of the air, but humidity back to normal now. I am so very thankful I purchased the Danby humidifier. It absolutely did the job. I always turned it off overnight.

Good dehumidifier

This dehumidifier works well in my basement. I also have the same dehumidifier in my garage for the past two years working very well there as well.

Hope this lasts longer than the last one

I had to replace the 3 year old DDR020BJWDB which worked for 2 seasons. I hope this one lasts longer

Great Danby Dehumidifier

We had our previous Danby dehumidifier for almost 10 years. We just had to purchase a new one and hope it lasts that long again. The new one is energy star certified which is a plus.

Excellent product.

Just put it into service, however this is my 2nd Danby and the first lasted 8 years of almost continuous service. Had other brands over the years and they were never as good or reliable.
