It's only been a couple days since I set this badboy up, but I already am getting everything and more out of it. The bootup is really fast the 2TB hard drive means I'll never run out of room. The whole system setup was fast, rather than an hours longs hassle. I love the fact that it came with a VGA and an HDMI port. So setting up my two monitors didn't require any additional adapter cable purchases. I'm very happy with this computer!!
This computer is not what I expected. It did not come with a Memory Card Reader, like my last HP tower had. I guess I'm just not accustomed to change. Also, it appears to be constructed cheaply. Windows 11 is a nightmare. I take a lot of pictures on my camera, which is an old Sony Cybershot that has a memory card. I can't put them on the computer unless I have a reader which I don't have and it seems that no one else does either. With the PC Mover software I purchased with this computer, not all of my files made it to the new computer. Now I'm going to have to reenter all of my music and CD's to this computer because it did not transfer correctly. I just am not happy with this.
We didn't pay a lot for this computer, but you get what you pay for. Overall it works pretty well. However, we have run into a few issues so far. The Wi-Fi signal drops every once in a while, the sound through the HDMI connection often cuts out for a very brief moment, and some of the settings don't retain. We deal with the Wi-Fi by turning it off then back on and reconnecting to the internet, a few times per week. Sometimes we have to restart. We haven't found a fix for the HDMI connection. We may need to try a new cable, but it worked perfect for the previous computer just days ago. For the settings, the clock keeps changing back to Pacific time (we're on Mountain Time) and it keeps locking after a short amount of time even though we've increased the time and told it to not lock after sleeping. This is probably more of an issue with Windows than hardware, but we didn't have this problem before.
