Not happy at all, when viewing any video the monitor starts to fade to yellow, then gets dark then goes bright white, then back to normal, over and over again. Definitely disappointing and feel I've been totally ripped off. My old desktop and monitor NEVER did this and cost so much less money than my new HP ...extremely unhappy HP

Fantastic desktop w/features of more expensive pc's. I-7 processor and more than enough disk space. Quick boot and startup. I should have bought it sooner.
I did tons of research before deciding on this computer, not only on which brand to buy, but everything it should include. I took into consideration the cost as well as the reasons I use it. I got it simply for personal use, not for business or gaming. I do lots of research on things I buy or have an interest in, or for a problem I want to solve. I love doing charts on Excel and I type recipes etc on Word. I also summarize the bible as I read it. That's mostly what I use the computer for. I am still adjusting to this one. I am almost 65 and not too tech savvy so this has been a great challenge for me. I hadn't been getting updates on my Windows 7 computer for years so everything is new and very frustrating. I know I will appreciate all the changes and new features overtime, so I am trying to be patient as I learn. I like having all the ports on the front of the computer to plug things into, as I have lots of things I plug in, including a microphone for voice typing, which is also new to me. I'm not real fond of the tiny slit that you stick your fingernail into to turn on the computer. I'm not sure what the purpose of that is. A regular, easy to press button would be nice. I expected this computer to be super-fast compared with my old one and so far, it is faster but not as fast as I was expecting. I have no doubt that I will appreciate all that it does, more and more the longer I use it and I don't expect to ever buy another computer. I hope this review helps you in some way.
Computer is not assembled well. Optic drive installed crooked. Starting button hard to make work and sometime requires many pushes. Have owned many HP desktop and laptop computers and this is not up to standards of the past.
It didn't work, and the resulting return paperwork I got didn't work either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got it 4 months ago, and it just stopped recognizing the monitor and then stopped turning on all together. I'm already sending it back to be repaired.
