I've had this new tower for about a week now and oh my goodness, I love it. The design is sleek, which is what I was looking for. It loads fast, runs everything I need (Adobe programs) in no time. It also has a lot of ports for any peripheral equipment you will be using. One week in and I love it. I will definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a new tower.
I received this as a gift about a week ago. Problems: on/off button difficult to use. Vertical DVD/CD Drive difficult to insert media. Computer shuts off while using. Computer freezes up while using - has to be restarted. Does not always find devices on network (LAN).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm not a geek, but it has the speed and memory I need to stream, surf, Skype, download and word process. I like the compact size, as I keep it under my coffee table.
This is my third HP product, Unfortunately it started having problems almost immediately and after having the unit for only a month I have to part with it so it can be sent in for service over the next 3-4 weeks. I find it interesting that it's like pulling teeth trying to secure a phone number to call for tech support when you're computer is inoperative to begin with which makes going online difficult
