I am not a computer expert, by any means. This is a replacement for an HP all-in-one, that I had to return. Prior to that I had a 4 GB desktop, so this is a great improvement. Only thing I would have preferred would for it to ship with wireless keyboard and mouse. Also, when I was deciding on which computer to purchase, the customer service agent was very helpful, but misinformed me that I wouldn't need additional speakers, which is not the case.
I needed a computer , I had a laptop which did not last very long . Wireless does not all ways handle the internet very well at times . More secure was what I needed . It took a while to find something . I asked and looked around for what was available . Some were good and not so good . I was told to try HP .com on line . Look at everything that they have . I found something after a few days on there Web site . I asked about this system , got some answers . Thought carefully about this . Felt good about this decision , then made this purchase . I got everything I wanted at a price I could afford . This is now up and working very well for me . Thank you for all of your help in this purchase .
Had a 1tb HP computer and was running out of space. Got this computer with 2tb and SSD, am loving it. Boots up so quickly that I am often turning it off instead of just leaving it on. It flies loading web pages. Overall, a good purchase.
I have had a few problems moving accounts to this computer. I would have liked a couple more USB hookups on the front. So far it does seem to be working out well.
Keyboard and mouse often stop working completely, sometimes with cursor visible and immobile and sometimes gone entirely. Control-Alt-Delete does nothing, so only thing left is a hard restart. Also annoying that the keyboard has no 'print screen' key, even though there is space on it for five more keys. The supposed workaround for no prt sc key (Fn+Windows+spacebar) doesn't work either. Stuck with HP desktop due to success with previous previous ones, but now regretting the purchase.
I wasn't able to start up my new HP right after it was delivered because of COVID--second time. I am still learning about all of the fantastic features and BOY, is it fast!! I had a HP Pavilion (8 years old) and I just thought that the internet was slow, Wi-Fi was slow but NOT my computer. Then, I received an email that my computer would not run on the Windows 10 after Oct. 2025. I decided to shop and found the one that works for me (I didn't want game features). My only problem right now is that the trial software is interfering with my paid subscriptions and I can't find out how to fix it.
Set-up was so easy. Windows 11 walked me through the process and since most of my documents were in the "cloud," they downloaded with ease. Even my web favorites, etc. moved over with no problem. I still had to download 3 programs I use, but that was quick and easy. The Desktop opens quickly and is fast. I've used HP Desktop Assistant for years and it helps to keep my computer up-to-date and running smoothly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I expected this computer to be structured the same as the windows 10 HP computer I bought for my spouse a little over a year ago. I do NOT like the Solid State Drive separate from the DATA drive. It makes it inconvenient to have my documents, downloads, and pictures have to be backed up differently than the normal backup.
