Desktop Pavilion didn't take up the whole desk surface area (in fact, very trim) and the 24" monitor I ordered with it is great! It replaces a Dell that did give me very good service. I did not purchase a monitor. The keyboard is perfect and does not require a tilt to type well. The response and load time is just super. This computer will be in-step for at least five years and then will be adequate after that. I would buy this particular computer again. Only two bloat-wares, a bonus.
