Bought this to replace my previous Fairlead 28" drop bottom duffel. This duffel has a pocket at one end only, and it takes up space from the inner compartment. The duffel is 2 inches narrower than its predecessor, so I will see how it works. My previous duffel lasted 10 years of traveling world-wide and to offshore rigs and diving vessels, so no real complaints - just hope I can get enough in it to last thirty days!

Perfect for my needs. I usually pack photo light stands and a tripod in the bottom of my luggage and the size and design of the bottom compartment of this bag is ideal for that. I like the flexibility of the different compartments. I wish the locking zippers found on the bottom compartment were on the other compartments as well. It’s designed as a bag to be checked, so why don’t they have locking zippers throughout? That is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. Otherwise, the size, scale, and design of the bag is perfect.
