One of my favorite Star Wars build

I've got Leia's transport ship from Star Wars: A new hope. This was an incredible build that I really enjoyed doing. I'm glad I was able to find one on eBay and had it in a few days.
The details of this build are incredible. The outside left engine is detailed with hoses and electrical lines running around the engine. The missing cowling really brings out the detail considering the cowling is missing from the original speeder in the movie.
It would have been nice to have a scale R2-D2 unit for this build considering at one point R2 was behind the cockpit next to the rear engine. I used one from Leia's ship build.
Overall I would recommend this to any Lego collector.

So one of, if not the very first set that my parents ever got for me as a kid was set 7110, a much earlier version of this landspeeder. When this was announced I decided early on that I would pick it up due to that nostalgia factor, but this has far and above exceed my expectations. I almost want to say that pictures don't do it justice and needs to be seen in person. The completed model is much more substantial than I would have estimated, and the build itself was one of the more enjoyable that I can ever remember working through. I am so happy to have this set in my collection and it will forever be one of my favorites because of my personal attachments. But those attachments aside, I struggle to see any fan of Lego or Star Wars taking issue with this set once they get their hands on it. Unless you expect to play with it, in which case there's probably another set much better suited for that. 10/10 would recommend.

Landspeeder UCS Success

Just another great set. The size was impressive and detail level was what you would expect from a UCS build. I was excited with the additions for the May 4th week purchase, but still would jump on this for anyone who just likes to have nice display-quality pieces from Lego and the Star Wars universe.

A fun build with interesting techniques that create a fantastic version this iconic vehicle. Displays nicely with The DeLorean Time Machine and Ecto-1.

I like everything about this except for two parts.
1 - No R2D2
2 - There two triangle pieces on the back only secured by one peg. I hate seeing this on the UCS models. These things should be sturdy. For the most part this is except those 2 parts.
