Good but should've been excellent

My biggest disappointment with this product is in the very first bag of Lego bricks, I was missing 2 parts! I've built Legos for over 10 years and can't remember when I built a set missing even 1 part, let alone 2! I am shocked and disappointed I have to wait at least a week for my replacement parts to come in the mail so I can finish this set.
Other than that, the Viking Ship and Midgard Serpent build is great and a lot of fun. The color palette and style of the build really fit the Lego theme and is sturdy. I would recommend this product but be wary of the missing parts problem as it appears other reviewers experienced similar issues.

So nice to see a viking-themed set available to purchase! I've had my eye on this bad larry for awhile now and was hoping to grab it after christmas. Thankfully my brother picked up on this and gifted it to me! I thoroughly enjoyed putting it together (went with the longboat and serpent option) and currently have it displayed with some of my other sets. I hope that LEGO plans on releasing more sets like this because I will be buying as any as I possibly can!

This is such a fun, versatile set. I had so much fun building this with my 6 yo son. The Viking ship is so cool that it will be sad to disassemble it to build the other options. If it weren’t so expensive, I’d consider buying 2 more sets my boys can play with all 3 options at the same time. I’d love to see this set made available with minor variations, like sail color and boat details so we could build a Viking fleet! My 5 yo son has been playing with the mini figures all week. They’re at an age where Lego is the perfect toy for them and I’m having a blast playing with them.

Viking Long Ship

This product is a perfect compliment for the new Viking Village. It was a gift for my nephew, and he loved it. I also purchased the Viking Village and he was thrilled to receive both sets. Lego needs to offer more Viking sets, as they go so well with the other Medieval Knights and Castle sets.

First set I've got in a long time. Helped my daughter with her wildflower legos, and I must say this ship was so much for fulfilling! I felt like a kid again!
