Missing Parts becoming more and more common

this is ridiculous, you raise prices and lower quality control. lego was once relaxing, but since 3 of the last 5 sets i have built have had missing pieces, i now get build anxiety. at least i got to bag 5 this time before the first missing part.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I expect the tires should be printed, side mirrors are too big and why Lego never makes windshield, open door is getting away from engine cover. This set is over price and not recommended .

Finished set looks ok

I'll start off with the positives. The finished set looks okay. The gear assembly works well.
Better instructions would help.. It hard to tell where many parts go and the rendering in the printed manual of the blue is hard to see the studs. I used Lego builder for this. I don't like the way the back spoilers (the ones connected with the rubber pieces ) mount. The back that flips up is too heavy for the design and so are the doors to a lesser extent the doors and they don't stay open. I love building Lego especially Technic. I have registered over 65 sets. I don't feel this set has true Technic quality. I previously built the Mclaren P1. It was a much more fun build and the finished set looked much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Honestly, I prefer the Lamborghini

As a lifelong adult LEGO builder that has built the first three cars in this series (Porsche, Bugatti and Lamborghini), I was of course looking forward to the latest 1:8 Technic supercar. Although a great build and display piece as always, it’s still a bit of a disappointment. One of LEGO’s big advantages over its competitors (that justifies the price point also) is the quality control, and there are several omissions and errors in the instructions that can lead to issues later on in the assembly. I had to tear apart and rebuild the entire gearbox assembly because the instructions were vague on which blue gear to use at one stop, and I sadly used the wrong one at first. The final model is also a bit flimsy in places, including the doors that look almost unfinished with the huge gaps in the top front. If you’re looking to get one of these supercar models, go for the far superior Lamborghini instead.
