It doesn't seem to give

It doesn't seem to give an accurate reading of the stone. However long the oven has been on, sometimes to a reading on the oven thermometer to 450 c, the infrared thermometer shows around 200c and the reading is continually changing. Absolutely no use at all.

Easy to use & accurate

A very easy to use and accurate digital thermometer. I use it on a conventional oven for both pizza and bread baking whether I'm baking on a steel or using a Dutch oven. There are far more expensive infrared thermometers available but this was sensibly priced and is robust.

Can be hard to read dial in bright sunlight. No issues using it besides that.
