I use it all the time when making pizza, helps make sure
the oven is at the right temp. Putting a pizza in a "cold" oven does not produce the desired results. The Ooni infrared thermometer provides a reading within a second that has proved accurate every time.

Can take the flame but not the heat

The gloves are fine for all activities including putting wood in the Ooni while a flame is rising. If you try to take care iron cookware it if the Ooni with them on, you will singe them and yourself...

They work and burn well
