Good but accuracy questionable

the thermometer is useful to gauge if the oven has reached a useable temperature, but not useful as an accurate device to measure temperature in general. It really can only measure certain objects and is only good at measuring air temperature. The readings vary enormously according to the distance from the oven, so to get an accurate reading you need to be close enough, not helpful when the oven is at 900 degrees Fahrenheit plus... So although the thermometer is good value for money, don't expect it to give you degree accuracy in any sense, just that it will allow you to see when the oven is within a certain temperature range.

Makes temperature check easy. Also makes a very annoying beep with each reading which scares our poor dog :(

The gloves are really important.
