Perfect for the Ooni oven.

Perfect for the Ooni oven. Removable handle saves space and allows you to remove hot pad without mittens. Wooden tray gives you the perfect location to place your hot pan. Cooked food well and fairly easy to clean.

Originally I didnt purchase the thermometer when I bought my Ooni because I thought it wasnt needed. After a few too many pizzas that the dough was not cooked all the way through and some research I bought this item. I learned just because it says wait 15-20 mins to heat up, does not mean the stone is at the temp it needs to be. Which is why i was getting undercooked pizzas. 100% would recommend this item. Also! when you use it, a red laser will appear on the oven where you have it directed, make sure that red laser is hitting the pizza stone to get an accurate read. I was just scanning the general oven not the stone, lesson learned :)

The stone that came with my oven cracked after cooling. Ooni was terrific in replacing it immediately. All is good and Ooni is the best!

Awesome cast iron. I like to smoke wings on a green egg and finish them on the sizzler in the ooni. I only wish it was a little wider and the handle was longer. It can be hard to get in and out as is so I usually use the peel to get it close enough to to the edge to grab. Overall it's a great cast iron and you won't be disappointed
