Vital bit of kit

This is a really great piece of equipment to test the temperature of your oven either when your about to slide a fresh pizza in or even at the end to pack away safely. It is so simple to operate and instantly gives you the figures you need for cooking.

Fun but not sure how accurate it is!

It's a fun gadget, but I'm not sure it's particularly accurate - it seems to depend what type of surface it is pointed at. For example, pointing it at the Ooni oven door when it's in place reads a much lower temperature than it actually is.
Even aiming it at the stone base and holding it in one place seems to give a fair bit of variation.

Is ideal for helping to make sure the pizza oven is up to temperature and remains at the right temperature for a perfect pizza bake!
