[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Frigidaire deep freeze for 30 years, refrigerator for 19 and my dishwasher was 19 when it quit. So….why not buy another one? Hoping this one is great quality as well. Time will tell, it’s only a couple of months old.

Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher 2022/23 Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely pleased with how well this unit cleans; dried on food with Normal Wash cycle, pots and pans with two days of dried food, using Heavy Wash cycle and very clean. Have been using it since January 24 (install date), so a month of usage and only two items didn't come out clean first time through. Both were cheese knives with a heavily full utensil rack, did a re-wash with more spacing and both came clean. This is my second Gallery and overall, I am very impressed with the improvements. Better job of cleaning, much quieter, and ease of operation. I do have four criticisms (hopefully, seen as constructive): the manual needs serious work. The page 2 Note (second column, top of page) RE: cleaning the filters refers to a section in the manual that does NOT exist. Next, the graphics on page 6, Controls and Settings has incredibly poor contrast and is almost impossible to read. Finally, the new utensil rack is a waste of space: it takes up too much room and is only piece (unlike the three piece rack in my old unit that could be added or removed based on the number of utensils for washing). Finally, I had to have the unit serviced and the wash motor replaced due to noises that started after two weeks of use. No mention in the manual. Service was excellent, fast, and well done. New motor (after two weeks of use) is making the same noise, not quite as loud and I think the "ball" inside the motor is what is causing the clunking noise (which should be noted in the manual as "normal operation" sound). I have already recommended this unit to two friends.

Not pleased

I'm not pleased with our new dishwasher. The bottom rack does not come smoothly out. Its back wheels get stuck in the space between the body and the door, causing it to crash down into this space. Then, to get the bottom rack back into the body, we must lift up the back end of the rack to lift its back wheels up and out of the space where they're stuck. We called our appliance company the day after the dishwasher was installed, but they could not send anyone out to look at the problem for two whole weeks yet. So I don't know if this is an issue with installation, or with the unit's design. Unfortunately, we're not pleased.
