It STINKS - LITERALLY

After two weeks of daily use, the dishwasher still smells like burning plastic. I've run a load with zero plastic in it and no difference.
The bottom drawer doesn't push in and out easily. Poor design - you have to pick it up to cover the gap at the door hinge.
The buttons do not respond well. It took us a long time to change the setting to normal. We haven't tried to change it again
We went for a cheaper model and we got what we paid for.

Right now not really happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased 10 days ago first time that we ran it to find out it has a leak. Sitting on hold for 25 minutes now waiting to talk with customer service. So if this is a glance into the future it’s going back.

Surprised results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe it's because I've never had a brand new dishwasher, but I was so very impressed with the first wash. I actually waited until it was loaded to run it for the first time and the glass and plastics came out with very little to no water spots was astounding. I live in Phoenix, AZ so VERY hard water (no softener for me). It was quiet and with the color indicator at the bottom, I have no need to wonder if it's done. I love it. It was a long wait, the first had a broken piece and the wait time for the new one was daunting, but I held out and so very glad I did. I'm over the moon with my new appliance Frigidaire package for the kitchen remodel I just finished.

I regret to say that my experience with the GDPP4515AF dishwasher has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased this appliance on 11-4-2023, and it has been a constant source of frustration and disappointment since day one.
The first issue arose when the spray arm, which is supposed to distribute water evenly, turned out to be incredibly flimsy. It broke within weeks of normal use. The real nightmare, however, began when the heating element in the bottom of the dishwasher also decided to give up on me.
To my disbelief, the heating element not only malfunctioned but detached itself entirely and fell onto the heating element assembly. This disastrous event led to a catastrophic blue color spray being burned onto the heating element. The result? A ruined heating element and an utterly useless dishwasher.
Not only is the GDPP4515AF unreliable, but it also poses a serious safety hazard. The fact that a crucial component like the heating element can simply break off and cause further damage is unacceptable. I shudder to think what could have happened if I hadn't been at home when this incident occurred.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door is very difficult to open. you have to give it a hard shove to get it to open all of the way. And whin it is all of the way open it won't lay flat, it wants to creep up.
When you pull the bottom rack out on to the door it DROPS. The tracks on the door that the bottom rack rolls on, is about an eight to a quater of an inch lower then the tracks in the washer. this makes it deifficult to puch a full rack of dishes back into the machine.
I would have returned the unit if I had known that I only had 48 hours to do so.
