My Favorite Printer

I am particularly pleased with the ease of installation, multitude of features and user friendliness. I have owned many ink jet printers of all brands and the XP-800 is by far my favorite. Everything seems easier to use and everything has worked perfectly. An example is the ease of printing envelopes which is usually a nuisance. Mine is on a home network and works flawlessly. I do need to try it with my iPhone. Great printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Anything new is always going to be a problem for me. Changes are good but time consuming and hard for me to adjust to.
It takes a while to learn all the new features for which I am still learning. The print quality is very good. I get confused with having 3 different trays for different kinds of paper. I understand that one tray is for photo paper and the other is for plain white copy paper but am having trouble getting the information to printer of which tray to use. I have yet to use the automated copy feature inserting 10 different pages to be copied on the top to be automatically fed into the printer and copied.
It is not a feature I would use every day but I do see it would be handy to use when needed.

Epson XP-800

The size was just what I was looking for to replace my beloved all-in-one Epson RX680 which worked beautifully for me until it wore out. Technology what it is, gave me high expectations with my new XP-800. Not! To print greeting cards using the rear feeder is horrific. The paper goes in and then rolls right out never beginning its cycle immediately no matter which way you may try. It is irritating and annoying and takes so much time for one copy. It makes annoying comments on the printer screen to put the paper stand up when it is already up. If you only want to print copies or photos from cassette 1 and 2 all is well as the quality is decent. I also would like to add the it uses ink like crazy…maybe double to triple my old printer. I'd love my old RX680 back!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

xp8000 printer

Over all I would give this 4.5 stars out of 5. I like its size as I have it in a slide out drawer. I have it connected to both my desk top via USB cord and my lap top via Wifi.
If it had a larger paper tray I would have given it 5 stars.

Great value for the price. Product has performed as advertised and is a perfect size for a home printer. Set up was very easy and so far has worked flawlessly.

This is a great printer! Love being able to sit in the living-room and print from my other devices. Making labels for shipping is so easy too. It does every thing!
