I have had nothing but problems with this printer. The wireless is very slow, it eats ink which makes it very expensive. Even after cleaning the heads several times, my pages are coming out smeared. Often I have to re-install the ink cartridges because the printer message states that it doesn't recognize the cartridges.

I have owned 7 Epson printers over the past 7 years and until my most recent purchases I have recommended the Epson printers to all my friends. I owned two RX280's, two RX595's, an Artisian 725, an XP-600 and XP-800. I loved the first 5 and they worked perfectly for me. I do a lot of printing and just simply wore them out. I purchased the XP-600 last fall and it lasted about a month and it started leaking ink and jamming paper. I purchased the XP-800 last month and have barely used it and it is already broken. It eats ink like candy and I just installed two new ink cartridges and now it's printing horribly. I did a head cleaning and no luck. I tried a few more head cleanings and it is still bad and now the head cleaning used almost all of the new ink I just installed without using yet, plus all of the other inks I already had installed.

Is A Printer that Doesn't Print a Printer?

The poor reviews this printer has received are completely true. I have had nothing but problems. Failing to recognize printer cartridges. Ink clogging. Failure to produce an accurate picture. Pictures that bleed ink even days after printing. Currently, the printer will print no image whatsoever despite new cartridges, and the scanner will not communicate with my computer, This is my THIRD unit after contacting Epson to replace it twice. It is truly the worst product I have ever purchased.

I just got my Epson printer, fax, copier set up. It was easier than I had anticipated. After printing a few pictures and regular form printing, I am very pleased with this product. Thanks Epson Daisy

The printer is exceptional, and easy to program/use. I like the way the tray extends upon start of a print job. It would be valuable to have the tray to reverse itself and go back into the printer after the project is complete, to prevent the chance of having it hit or broken by a chair or someone walking too close to the printer.

the overall quality of prints is great, i found this printer to be an excellent printer for the average home or office, however if you do a large amount of printing this is not for you. it goes through its small ink cartridges way too quickly.

Excellent Print Quality

I'm a photography enthusiast and recently decided to being printing my photos at home. I can't overstate the quality of the color, consistency and vibrancy of the photos I've printed thus far. The printer software installed without incident and the printer itself was a breeze to set up. I've just purchased the printer so I can't speak to its long-term reliability but my initial impressions have exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this printer.
