Good printer

Very good printer. I especially like the scan software. The ink is expensive. The ink that came with the printer ran out almost immediately but replacements seem to be doing fine. The paper trays are a bit awkward but no real problem.
Print and scan quality is excellent and I love the wireless feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact Giant

I bought this model because of its features and its small footprint. We use it every day in our mail order business.
It is reliable and produces great prints, B&W or color. Easy set up, WIFI great for all our computers and ipads.
Epson supplies are shipped super fast.....got my order just as the black ink ran dry! They have always shipped supplies fast....I try to keep a spare cartridge on hand
This printer has a lot more features that I have not used....but will do so with some special projects in the near future
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Photo Printer

The XP-800 is a compact full functioning printer that is far better than its low price would indicate. It is designed primarily as a photo printer and that is the function where it really excels: photos are vibrant, crisp and clear, especially 4X6 photos. Fantastic. Text printing, however, is not as crisp and clean as a laser printer and text has a slight fuzzy quality, but certainly serviceable for most users. On the downside - ink. Printing photos drains the ink supply quickly and the ink cartridges are very expensive, so print your photos judiciously. I would definitely recommend XP-800 for its low price and high quality photos.

I have really enjoyed my Epson, the features are very handy. I have not had any problems, it replaced a printer that I had for over 10 years, and we are getting along fine. The only thing I have not tried is the disk printer. I have not been able to get any of these disk, that I purchased, to read on my computer and so have not printed any.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exceptional Value

This compact, simple to use, high resolution all-in-one printer is exceptional. The quality of photo printing rivals industrial printing and it is adaptable to most needs, from drafts to finished products, related to printing documents.
It is less adaptable for MAC computers than to PC's since the software (drivers, etc.) are less compatible. It does perform well in spite of the shortcomings.
I would recommend this printer to anyone.

Epson XP-800

Just purchased this printer yesterday to replace my Epson Artisan 837. The overall setup was a breeze, even the wireless setup (w/o a USB cable) worked smoothly. I plan to use this printer for photos and home made greeting cards, which I occasionally do as a side business. I tested some white card stock by printing from the rear auto feeder and the colors and simplicity of the process was very impressive. My test print ran without curling the paper or smearing the ink, however it was as good white a white shimmer card stock so I will have to continue to play with the settings. Nevertheless, I am please with the several print test I have ran up to now. I hope not to have regrets in giving up my Artisan 837 for my son to take to college!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

EPSON Does It Well

This printer does it all very well. You can't go wrong for the money.
1. Color reproduction is excellent.
2. Scanner works well reproducing images.
3. Very compact with all that it does.
4. Love the wireless for making printing from your remote devices so easy.

Love that it has it all; print DVD's; direct feed slot for envelopes and heavy papers; great photos; two-sided scanning; cloud printing; and it's fast!
