The Epson XP-800 printer has been nothing but trouble for me. Previously I had an Artisan which I really liked. When it quit, I immediately researched Epson again for a good photo printer. In 8 months I have had 5 XP-800 printers. The original worked for only a few weeks, then was replaced by Epson with 3 refurbished XP-800 printers. Finally they sent me a new XP-800 and I have used it for a few weeks with no problems, yet. The ink has always been the issue. Either the printer doesn't recognize the cartridge or it just doesn't print properly.
Epson customer service and support are great and maybe the other printers work well, just not the XP-800.

Nothing but problems with printing simple black and white documents. Does not work with Windows.

Set up of this printer was easy enough but that is all I can find good about it. Everthing it prints has horizontal lines going through it. You can forget about printing photos. Sucks ink like drinking water through a straw. Printer has all ready been discontinued.

The XP-800 is all that it is advertised to be for a modestly priced small footprint color printer. It does an excellent job and is easy to set-up. Unfortunately, it uses copious amounts of ink (particularly colors) during set-up and also daily operation.

I bought the printer at the begining of the year, and I'am on my third one. The idea of a small foot print is great but not at the price of quality. You always made GREAT PRINTERS don't stop now.

This has to be my 10th Epson printer, and every time they get better. My last printer the Epson Artisan 837 was great but it was also big; whereas, the Epson Expression Premium XP-800 Small-in-One® Printer fits nicely on my home workstation and gives me room for more accessories. This printer prints faster and better quality photos. It's Wi-Fi features have been improved as well. And it does all these with a smaller footprint.
