I'm always a little nervous when installing new hardware. However, I have to say that EPSON has made this a straight forward and foolproof process. This is a first for me. I'd give it a higher rating, but I haven't had it very long. Although, I expect nothing but the best from EPSON.

Our third Epson printer over the years and we loved all of them. The XP 800 is an extremely impressive all-in-one with great features and very high quality prints and copies. An outstanding value and quality. It is quite easy to operate all the functions with very straight forward directions. Tech Support is outstanding. We highly recommend this product and this company.

It's all about the Expensive INK!

I've had to buy ink 3 times and have used the printer very little. It has happened twice that the printer does not recognize Epson's own brand of ink and I've had to re-buy to get the darned thing to work. It's a total ink pig and if I could I'd try to get my money back.

Buyer Beware!

This printer worked fine until it hit 10 months old. Then the problems with printing and copying began. Black printing was light gray and copying was picking up colors not on the original (green, yellow and red.) Within 1 month, Epson has replaced my original printer 3 times! The first was refurbished which was unacceptable; it was so beat-up looking it belonged in the trash. The other 2 were brand new printers that within days started showing problems with printing and copying. I've had this one about 2 weeks now; we shall see how it holds up. The one star rating I gave it was over-rated, but I'm not able to give it less...

I have been using the Epson XP-800 for 12 months and 4 days. All of a sudden it won't print anything requiring black ink. I have gone through all of the troubleshooting processes to include using one complete set of ink cartridges for print head cleaning. Still nothing.

Guzzles Ink...Clogs up. Very disappointing

Bought the printer and after a few days had to replace all the ink cartridges. Two weeks later, colors were missing on print out. Ran all the maintenance and trouble shooting. Called support, very friendly, ended up with a replacement unit. Second unit lasted five months before the same thing happened. This printer guzzles the ink. Print out nothing but black documents; but the blue, red, and yellow ink levels are low. Never printed out photos, but black photo ink level is low. Now, after talking with support...full ink levels all around, colors are not showing up on printouts...waiting on replacement unit number three. Third time a charm?

I usually like Epson printers for their quality photos. I've only had the xp-800 small in one for about a year. I've had to frequently clean the print heads & now it's not recognizing "new" print cartridges. Very disappointed.

This all in one has many great features but I will never buy another. It goes through ink like crazy. The cartridges can not be refilled. You have to use Epson ink or it wont work. Generic ink which is cheaper will not be recognized and therefore the printer wont work. If I chose draft mode to conserve ink it is so pale it cant be read so you have NO choice but to use a mode that uses more ink. Stay away ,very far away from this product.
