Amazing TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my TV mainly for watching movies and twitch streams. My wife has poor vision so having a large tv with crystal clear picture and good color separation is very important to us. The Samsung Q80B fits the bill perfectly. One of my favorite features, are the intelligent picture and intelligent audio features. These calibrate the image and sound quality to great effect without my having to go in and do it manually.

My Samsung entertainment experience.

I enjoy alot of syfy shows and movies,and the crystal picture I get is critical for total experience.. There is surprising quality in the speakers of the TV as well while jamming music videos!

Great, but not best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In general TV is great, but compare image quality to OLED I will will give up on this one. Some portion of the screen have white spots, there is no black black, but when image shown looks good!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q80B TV. To ensure your picture is fully optimized, please be sure your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version, as this includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the picture you’re seeing out-of-the-box is not to your liking after performing any available firmware updates, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

You can also go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings to manually fine tune your image.

Best TV I ever bought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture quality is amazing, tv is quick and the remote is something else you don't ever need to worry about batteries bc it has a rechargeable battery and if you don't have a charger just take it out in the sun bc it's solar powered how cool. Great job samsung this is something else

More then a t.v.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of Samsung, have been for years. I enjoy the flawless connection between devices. The smart things app is so incredible! I frequently use it to link my samsung phone to my Samsung QLED 65" t.v. I can mirror my phones screen on the t.v. and vice versa! I can use my phone as a remote and even turn my t.v. off from work! The picture quality is amazing! It makes playing games and movies so much more satisfying! Sure you can get other brands and they may be cheaper. But you will NEVER match the quality, ease of use, and the wonderful cross device cooperation with Samsung. I refuse to use other brands now that I've spent time with Samsung. One additional feature I personally enjoy is the Samsung t.v. plus. It takes me back to the days of basic t.v. and offers so many channels. I can honestly say I am satisfied with my purchase of this t.v. I am one who does homework and reviews before I buy, and I did not regret it. I will be sticking with Samsung for my foreseeable future. Thanks for a great product.
