wow, i am at the age i realized the tv is smart and i am not.
however, the setup was quick and smooth.
the picture is super. there's so much content loaded on this tv i will never use it all.
the only thing i might criticize is that i increased the text size as large as it will go, and it is still difficult to see from more than 8' or so away and the remote is not backlit.
that is a big one. i had read that in other reviews and it's very true.

One of the best yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung's flagship model is one of the best I've owned. For the last 15+ years, I've only purchased Samsung TVs, and still have two that support 3D. I'm not donating them any time soon, or the 4K/3D players. I do wish they'd bring back a refined version of home 3D viewing. My family and friends enjoyed it very much. With 4K, it's really more hype and unnoticeable unless you're sitting close to the monitor. Not everyone understands this and jumps on the 4K bandwagon. Short of some features removed from previous models, such as lack of support for older devices (great for some fun, old school gaming), it's still a wonderful model and highly recommended it.

Samsung Delivers Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to upgrade my older Samsung Led TV which was absolutely amazing. I decided to give the Q80 a shot and I'm glad I did. The colors are vibrant, the black levels are better than the older TV and the sound is where I saw the biggest improvement. Moving to the software. The new chipset allows for smooth scrolling and the TV receives updates regularly. I highly recommend!

Fantastic Gaming TV

i bought this to upgrade an older 4k tv. right off the bat i was amazed by the tv. setup was super fast and easy with my phone. it found and paired the tv remote with all my devices automatically. colors are bright and vivid. darks are dark. gaming on this tv is very responsive. i've never experienced gaming so smoothly before.
amazing tv!
I would recommend this to a friend!
