Below average quality for above average price

I purchased this television around a year ago. We have had issues with glitching screen while using remote, random freezing, and volume randomly shuts off. Would steer clear of purchasing a Samsung TV in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Remote is terrible

I bought this Samsung TV to replace my older 60" Samsung TV. Picture clarity is beautiful. The remote is horrible. Half of the time it doesn't work and even when it is working it's a nightmare to use. I'll be getting an Amazon fire stick remote and if I can I'll disable the smart portion of the TV. Last Samsung TV I'll purchase.

Great overall product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my TV for sometime now and I've always loved the picture with a HD cable connection, but I unleashed the features on wi-fi and moved it to the living room, great picture, easy to use menu, easy to connect, yhe ability to use Google or Alexa, I'm sure there are things that I'm still learning about my TV but I love the product and to be honest, it is probably a 2022 model but a great product just the same.

DO NOT BUY

I've had this TV for just over two years and it no longer works. I've always had Samsung TVs and they've always lasted me 5+ years. I will never buy another Samsung TV considering I went with the better quality QLED and it's now useless. Compared to my UHD Samsung TV that I've had for almost 5 years and ZERO issues. First, this is a bedroom TV and isn't used as often as the UHD living room TV. But, there started to be faint lines towards the bottom of the screen on the QLED TV. They didn't obscure the picture but more of an annoyance. Then the lines kept increasing towards the middle of the screen. But, still, wasn't a huge issue for more since I could still see whatever I was watching. However, now, the TV cycles through the startup process over and over and over and over. Sometimes never turning on. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to finally turn on. There will be a faint backlight and the sound of it turning on but then it turns off. Tries to turn itself on again. Nope. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. The red indicator light on the TV just keeps flashing. I've tried troubleshooting. I've tried unplugging, holding the power button down, etc. Tried to see if there was an update however mysteriously, that option is now greyed out in settings. It has never been greyed out before and I've always had automatic updates on. There is ZERO way to fix this TV and of course it's outside of its warranty. I guess that's what I get for buying the more expensive model. Never again.

Bad screen quality

Received this device on an extended warranty replacement of another Samsung TV. Very disappointed in screen quality… this TV has a large vertical section on screen with yellowish green tone to it. Have found no screen calibration available to fix this bad section.
