[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I fear that my actual purchase was for a Q80B, the selections for the review were limited. Never the less, I wanted to say how absolutely pleased I have been with this purchase. The colors, clarity, brightness, sound, and style are unsurpassed for other TV's of this level. I have always enjoyed the home screen format and interface, and it is even better now. I, for one, find QLED superior to OLED, but that is just my opinion. Have no fear in buying a Samsung 4K or 8K large screen when you have the chance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iuse my Samsung q80b qled not only for gaming,but streaming along of different movies,from American, Korean,Japanese, and Chinese movies...No matter what my samsung qled has and still does an amazing job of upscaling and has an excellent picture! Very pleased and happy to have a samsung tv!

Needs an old school analog audio out

Great TV, I do not use any of the "smart" features.
My only complaint is getting audio out to my stereo. It's an off brand and there is no telling what the remote code that it uses; thus I wish this TV had a basic analog audio out, headphone jack, to redirect the tv speaker stereo output while preserving volume control.

AWFUL PICTURE QUALITY/SETTINGS wish I could return

I purchased this TV to upgrade from a samsung that was probably 6 years old - I did this because my old TV had a bad picture quality when images were dark (i.e., game of thrones scenes, etc.) and I was over it. Well, despite my hours of research, and going above my budget, I've concluded that this TV sucks just as much as my old one. While the image on my QLED 4k Q60B is more "HD" than my 6 year old "HD" samsung, the picture settings are similarly limited, and if you stand ANYWHERE except for directly in front of the TV and perfectly perpendicular to it then the screen appears grey and almost blurry. I'm currently slumped down on the couch that sits directly in front of the TV, which you would think is a standard position for TV watching - NOT FOR THIS TV - instead, the image appears almost foggy and dark scenes are even worse quality. Additionally, to add insult to injury, when you think you have adjusted the picture settings jusssst right, the TV will AUTO ADJUST THE IMAGE ON ITS OWN WHEN YOU CHANGE SCREENS (i.e., when looking at the netflix homepage it will be adjusted one way, then when you click into a show and are reading the info page it will adjust to a different quality). It drives me insane. I have spent a lot of time searching for solutions to these issues and nothing works. (I have not bothered contacted samsung support due to my previous experience with their support being an absolutely unhelpful waste of time and not even believing I was experiencing the issue I had contacted them to address.) I would return this TV in a heartbeat if I could.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
