We appreciate your feedback on the Q80B TV's volume level. Your new TV features Intelligent Mode to optimize sound tailored to your environment, which includes features like Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) which further detects disturbances and enhances the on-screen voices for clear dialogue.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings. Turn the options on or off to meet your needs:
- Active Voice Amplifier is available only when the sound sensor of the TV is active and the sound output is set to TV Speaker, or a Samsung Soundbar interlinked with Adaptive Picture is connected.
- Adaptive Sound+ provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content.
- Adaptive Volume Automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV.
Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
You can also customize sound by going to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings

Screen quality is superb in any light levels.
The menu and widgets are very easy to work through.

My Favorite TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung QLED 4K Smart TV for anything and everything entertainment. From watching Sports and binge watching my favorite TV series to watching YouTube videos and streaming music.
My favorite features on this TV range from the very thin TV frame and the superior 4K picture quality to how seamless it is for me to connect my google home and my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra so I can view my phone on my TV and vice versa.
Want to watch a series on an app not pre-installed on the TV? Easy! The app store is only a few clicks away and you can download that streaming app in seconds. The microphone button on the remote makes it very quick to fond what you're looking for without typing it out on the onscreen keyboard button by button. Don't want to use the mic? This TV lets you type it out on your Samsung phone and display it on screen!
This to me is truly a definition of a smart TV. Superior design, convenience features and seamless connectivity that shows you that your TV is an extention of your living room and entertainment experience, not a boring black rectangular box taking space up in your house. Highly recommended addition to your life!

great picture and sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Watch it for everyday viewing and dvds. picture is great, speakers are loud and colors very good. but, this is second Samsung I bought this year (different models) and really hate the remote controls for both(and they are completely different remotes that work differently), but especially with this model...the magic arrow/button whatever you call it is annoying and navigating is not easy/not even a "source" button to easily switch from 1 source to another. why a tv can't have functional user controls that you don't need to read a manual to figure out is beyond me.

It does great with natural light coming through the qindows and its amazing when we close off all lights and enjoy a family movie. It has great blacks and provides and acceptional viewing experience and it truley imersive at this 85 inch size

Steps are very easy to make if there is any adjustment, meaning wifi settings , or remote settings. I like the features that connect to any gadgets you can think of like using the phone or other computers for viewing in the TV
