Does not live up to expectations

I bought this at the Kern County Fair. Got a great deal. I've had it about a week and have been on Traegers technical help line 4 times. This is not what I expected and I'm extremely disappointed in this expensive yard decoration. For the price, definitely not worth it. Stick with your old, simple models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally had the chance to upgrade from my Timberline 850 to the new Timberline. When you think the product couldn't get any better, Traeger goes above and beyond and produces a grill with a beautiful design, thoughtful creature comfort upgrades, and a way to carve out a niche in the market that other outdoor appliance companies can't rival. The tech support team continues to impress me with their top notch service and attentiveness to the needs of its customers. Great work Traeger!

I just got my new Timberline XL and customer support was fast and a great help…
my grill was in Demo mode, so no heat would work. Support was able to remove the demo mode.
I also wasn’t able to get the grill to heat up… I found out you need to Prime the auger first… then it all worked well. Not sure if I will need to do this every time.
