This is the absolute BEST grill! I've had 2 other Traegers and this one by far is the best. The super smoke cycle delivers amazing flavor and the technology is incredibly easy to use, especially when paired with the app. This is my outdoor kitchen all-in-one!

I bought one of the very first Traeger timberlines 1300s. It has been the best smoker I have ever owned. Still going strong, dependable and reliable, each and every time. Sad I would like to upgrade to the new model, but mine is still performing optimally. I know things have changed since I purchased mine, but the guys at Texas Star Grill shop in Houston is an incredible place for all your smoking needs.

New Timberline has temperature control problems

I purchased the new Timberline to replace an existing Traeger that I use 3-4 times a week on average. On initial startup and seasoning the grill never achieved the target temperature. I made sure all of the latest firmware updates were applied. I then tried a high-temp cook at 500 degrees… after 45 minutes it never got above 225. Called customer support. They were very nice, but said this is a known issue that they’re working on. Couldn’t give me an estimated date for a solution. Searching reviews here and on other websites, this appears to be a significant problem with these new Timberlines. I wanted to love this grill… it offers so many improvements over my older model. Unfortunately, it’s currently a very expensive lawn ornament. Traeger, please fix this and make it right.
