[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes a great addition to my battery powered lawn care system. Since now my mower, leaf blower and trimmer all use the same batteries, I no longer have to deal with any gas powered lawn products. I live on over an acre property with lots of trees and gardens and highly recommend this and all Greenworks 80v lawn products!
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Great trimmer except the bump feed is terrible

Ive had mine for 2 summers now, I love everything about it except the bump feed. Its a double line bump feed but it doesnt have a separator between the two lines so they get tangled ALL.THE.TIME. I've re run the feed pretty much every use and no matter how I spool the thing, its always getting jammed. Greenworks has double line bump feeds with separators and oddly doesnt have one for this model - so I'd actually urge you guys to not get this one and to check for models that have accessory replacements.

The head will not feed the string! The spring seems to tight!! It’s going in the trash! Very disappointed!!

Spend more time trying to get the line replaced and working that it’s worth!! Not near as easy as they promote.

It is possible that the trimmer head just needs to be worked in, as this should be able to be completed by hand. This string trimmer head has been designed for very quick and efficient reload while being easy to rewind. We understand that for some new customers this task may seem overwhelming/difficult but once they do it a few times it’s quite easy – as easy as replacing a spool. It’s also cheaper and more convenient for customers to rewind the trimmer head because they can use any generic .095” trimmer line and save money on more costly replacement spools.
