its not samsung, its intel (LOVE THE MACHINE)

I bought the thinkpad x1 yoga gen 7 oh boy, I got blisters using that machine. I also got dell 13 plus that also runs hot.. I had figured the problem is not with these machines, but with the intel makes whacky chips. I love this machine, everything is best about this laptop when you compare it to the other brands... I LOVE IT TO BITS. PLEASE KEEP ON MAKING NEXT GENERATIONS OF THIS DEVICE TOO... (if your audio is low, go to dolby access and turn it off or change the profile [your welcome])

Awful Computer

This is the worst computer I have ever owned. The glass screen cracked within the first week of owning it and after getting it fixed, three weeks later I picked the computer up closed and it cracked again. Its frail and flimsy and the bottom is starting to fall off due to poor engineering. Want a refund, this is garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better off shopping elsewhere

I always thought the beauty of the USB-C is that you can put the plug in either direction (up or down) and it would still work. One of the usb-c inputs only works in one direction. This can be a big pain if you are using it to charge the battery only to find out that it is not working until you flip the plug around.
The battery life itself it a bit of a joke. You can get about 7 hours if you shut off the wifi, bluetooth, lower the brightness to about 25% and shut off every application while having the battery saver mode turned on. You know, the way most people use their computer.
There is about a 20% chance the finger biometric will work to turn on the computer so make sure you plan on using the pin to get in. Don't even think about using facial recognition. Even though it comes with a camera, it is not compatible for turning on the computer.
The best part of the computer is that after two months of use, it decided to stop working. No way to turn the computer on - not even the blue screen of death. Absolutely nothing. But then after about 40 minutes of having the computer open, it suddenly decides to turn on. And conveniently it wipes away all the settings to allow you to set up your preference all over again.
If you are given it as a gift and so it is free, it is worth every penny. Otherwise, shop elsewhere.

Severe overheating, unable to boot, have to RMA.

this unfortunately is the worst purchase i have ever made. this laptop has a severe overheating issue out of the box, after roughly one month of usage the laptop was unable to boot without any indicator light even when it was plugged in.
called in and was told that it is a possible hardware failure and was given a shipping label to sent the laptop for repair. however after more then a day after the incident i decided to plug in the laptop and somehow the laptop was able to boot but suffers from severe overheating particularly around the keyboard, it was so hot that it burns to the touch! the laptop worked for around a day or 2 and then it stopped booting again and now it's currently in a repair center awaiting testing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On paper its all there

my main use is reading and writing research. the battery life on my brand new device while doing this varies between 3 to 4.5 hours. and boy it heats up. honestly, i had very high expectations, my primary reason for getting a new laptop was that i wouldn't have to charge for one work day and come home and plug it in. no such luck its battery time is the same as my previous 3 yr old acer spin. and honestly, i am scared to use the pen, which i would normally to mark up my pdfs, is there a way to turn off the hand touch situation so annoying.

Wanted to love it

this has so many pros and cons. pros: small, lightweight and excellent charge.
cons: overheated too often and burned my legs. (not severe). functions quit working on me such as touch screen. had to reset it multiple times. would get stuck on a blue screen of death and have to close it, charge for a while and try again.
then i dropped it. it is slippery and i'm disabled so my grip is not the best. that is on me. i am shocked i didn't get an accidental protection plan which i usually do so now i'm out a computer after spending a lot of money on that.
i loved the phone to computer option and it made my life easier with my disability. this could have been a fantastic device had it worked properly for me and if it had some non slip grip material on the outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's almost all there!

the galaxy book2 pro 360 is a good laptop. just good, not quite great. but, it's close.
everything's there: the build quality, the speakers, the customization.
there is one feature i have to dock this laptop for: the display. i have the 15" display, and while rich in colors, it lacks sharpness. i bought this laptop at this size for a wider display and expected clarity and high picture quality to match. but as much as i want to love this laptop, samsung did not deliver here. the 16:9 ratio is dated, and its shortcomings show at 15". it's slightly fuzzy, and i just expect better.
