Keyboard too sensitive.

I really hate and regret buying this laptop. The keyboard is incredibly sensitive and results in too many unwanted screen selections or screen freeze. There are no hardcover laptop protectors available and limited softcover ones. The laptop is VERY fragile. There is a small dent from a PEN falling on top. I wanted to try samsung laptops since i heard there were great reviews but the quality is so poor and the keyboard sensitivity is so ridiculous it makes me want to fling it out the window. As a grad student I use my computer every day so this has been a frustrating experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this computer for about a week now and am loving it. The fact it has the extended keyboard with the number pad was a huge win for me. I love the edge to edge screen, no wasted space. It was an easy set up so I could get up and go. I upgraded from a chromebook so the size difference of the screen is fantastic but it's so slim, perfect for transporting

A great battery Life but not touch screen

the problem with buying online is that you can't feel the product and this laptop feels made of very cheap materials. i thought i was buying a laptop with a touchscreen because it was pro model and the price, but it wasn't. the most positive thing i see about this laptop is the battery life, that's not disappointing

Screen too flimsy!! Breaks just opening the lid.

I bought this computer one year ok for college for a pretty penny. 1 month in and the screen just cracked. I did send it in for repair. Haven't used the laptop all summer and opened up and the screen is broken again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bright LEDs you cannot turn off

ok laptop, unable to turn off charging leds on side panel. these leds are the brightest lights i've ever seen on a laptop. honestly, you cannot sleep with this laptop in the same room.

Love my Galaxy Book

Disclosure, I bought a Galaxy Book 12 (so its an older model) as a refurb and it didn't come with a keyboard, just the screen/top part. It's been great. I was going to use it for displaying simple widgets but I love how light it is and fairly durable (I have a case on it and the gorilla glass is doing well). I found I use it all the time and no longer use my iPAD for casual use - reading, watching a show, playing game, whatever. I love that it uses USB-C standard, so I can charge like my phone. I can throw it in my backpack and it doesn't weigh it down like a laptop with heavier keyboard/base. The battery lasts quite a long time with constant use, maybe not as much as my iPad but this holds Windows and Office, so more useful to me. I did not buy it with high power expectations but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy this as a casual laptop. The video/resolution would not be enough for me to use for work but for everything else it is great. Touchscreen has been good and using the screen keyboard, I haven't missed adding a physical keyboard for it. I have this one for more than a year and would buy one for work if it supported better resolution.
