Love it! Everything as advertised. Heats fast, evenly and well. So much better than the propane or electric ranges I've had. And clean up?! Wipe it down-- fast adn easy!

Perfect except one small thing

Great performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the range now for two months and I am very happy. It's fast, accurate and very easy to clean. Only thing I find somewhat negative is the the single control for all top induction elements is not great. The visible side panels are painted rather than stainless steel and detract from the overall appearance in a standard range opening.

Missing features, not as good as hoped

After hearing great things about Bosch, we got the benchmark 30" induction range and dishwasher. The first range turned on completely by itself, including the broil function. We requested immediate replacement of the unit which happened. The second range is just OK. It's missing features my very low end induction range had, like a delayed start on the oven, no connection to their wifi app, the power output of the burners is no stronger than the cheap model (have to cook an egg on 8). The metal around the oven case are not tight and there are gaps where it just doesn't fit, this was the same on both ovens. The buttons on the cooktop are so sensitive a slight hand over them changes cook temps unexpectedly and the placement of the burners is awkward, especially if 2 or 3 pots are cooking at the same time. I have to cook my bread 5 mins longer with the convection setting on to get the same doneness as our old oven. We really wanted to love this range but we don't. It does not seem to have the quality or functionality we expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Getting to Know One Another

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had had our old stove since 1992 and were somewhat concerned about new technology: glass top, push buttons instead of dials, induction cooking, change in general. As it turned out, our fears were unwarranted. The manual is well-written and very clear. The quick response when I change the temperature on the cooktop allows me to adjust as necessary. And it gave me an excuse to buy new cookware, rehoming most of my old pots and pans with a friend. My only problem is, because I'm short, I often inadvertently push an oven setting when I'm cooking on the cooktop! Onverall a great purchase.

Love this range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first induction range we have had and after 5 weeks of use, we love it and never want to go back to electric. The oven is much more consistent and seems to be quicker and everything cooks more evenly - even without using induction. The stovetop is the best! On electric, I would bring something to a boil and turn it down and it would take so long to cool off things would boil over. Not here! The temperature drops immediately and nothing boils over. Things come to a boil more quickly as well. And we can even run separate timers for the oven and the stovetop! We are spoiled now!

Bosch Benchmark induction range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a terrific range and I'm so pleased that I went with induction. The range top heats quickly and accurately and it is silent even when using high power. The position of the "burners" is excellent as they sit under my over the range microwave so that everything is vented.
The oven is also excellent and the temperature probe is a great tool. I find myself searing on the range top and finishing in the oven frequently. I have used the cooktop for foods that I had been doing in a slow cooker like pot roasting and chicken soup.
The oven bakes a beautiful loaf of bread that comes out evenly browned.
The convection fan is very quiet.
The timers for oven and cook top are very helpful.
The warming drawer is another convenient feature.
I highly recommend this induction oven.
I am a retired Chef and will be getting a lot of use out of the Bosch oven.
With the induction cooktop it is possible to lift the pan from the heat when sautéing and return the pan to the burner without it immediately turning off. This was a problem with some of the industrial induction cooktop, but not an issue with the Bosch Benchmark.

Makes cooking more pleasant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a brief learning curve, we really enjoy the induction cooktop. Responsive and flexible heat control makes the cooktop a pleasure to use. We especially like the flex zone and the abilities it provides. The oven has much better insulation than our previous electric range from another brand. We've used all of the oven settings, including the probe and all work like a charm. And the fan is much quieter than our previous oven. Overall, we couldn't be happier.
